The death has occurred of John Gurren, Brackloon, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon - 17th July 2025, peacefully at Fearna Manor Nursing Home. He is predeceased by his parents Joe and Mary, brothers Paddy, Ted, Paul, Martin, and Anthony and his sisters Molly, Josie, Theresa, Bea and Nora. John will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

John will be reposing in Gaynor's Funeral Home, The Square, Castlerea (F45 HH24) on Sunday evening from 5pm to 7pm. His funeral will arrive at St. Patrick’s Church, Castlerea, for Requiem Mass on Monday morning at 11am after which John will be laid to rest in Baslick Cemetery.
