The death has occurred of Martin McHugh, No. 1 Arm, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon and formerly of Caher, Castlerea and Castlebar, Co. Mayo - 10th July 2025, suddenly but peacefully at his home. He is predeceased by his parents Joe and May, sister Christina and brothers-in-law George O’Connor, Tommy Lavin and Thomas Neilan. Martin will be sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Teresa, loving sons TJ (Ballyvary), Nigel (Castlerea), Martin (Castlerea) and Shane (London), sisters Marion O’Connor, Ann Lavin, Joan Keaveney, and Eithne McEvoy, brother Jim, adored grandchildren Darren, Ethan, Ailbhe, Eibhlin, Tadhg and Sofia, daughters-in-law Yvette, Karen, Maricarmen, and Sarah, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Gaynor's Funeral Home, The Square, Castlerea (F45 HH24) on Sunday evening from 4.00pm to 7:30pm, followed by Prayers and reception into St. Caolin's Church, Trien.
Requiem Mass on Monday morning at 12 midday, after which Martin will be laid to rest in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Castlerea.
