The death has occurred of Harry Connolly, Church Hill, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon, 18th January 2026, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in the excellent care of the staff at the Roscommon Hospice. Predeceased by his beloved wife Celia. Harry will be sadly missed by his children, Annmarie (Hickey, Galway), Gerry (Sligo), Deirdre (Connolly, Malahide) and Harriet (Sandyford), grandchildren Lisa, Lauren, Aoife, Juliette, Ronan and Rowan, partners Daniel and Jamie, great-grandchildren Grace and Tom, sons-in-law Paul and Liam, daughter-in-law Mary, nieces, nephews, cousin John Deacy, relatives and friends.

Reposing in Gaynor's Funeral Home, The Square, Castlerea (F45 HH24) on Wednesday evening from 5 pm to 7 pm. Funeral arriving at St. Patrick’s Church, Castlerea, for Requiem Mass on Thursday at 11 am, after which Harry will be laid to rest in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
