The death has occurred of Nora Gunning, St. Kevin's Terrace, Church Road, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon – 28th October 2025, peacefully at the North West Hospice, Sligo. Pre-deceased by her parents Patrick and Mary, sister Ann and her brothers Michael and Kevin. Nora will be sadly missed by her loving family, brother John (Renmore, Galway), nieces Geraldine, Marion, Christina, Mary, Patricia, and Pauline, nephews Jonathan and Patrick, grandnieces and grandnephews, brother-in-law Padraig Folan. her extended family, neighbours and her many friends.

Reposing at Gaynor’s Funeral Home, The Square, Castlerea (F45 HH24) on Thursday from 5pm to 7pm followed by Prayers and reception into St. Patrick's Church, Castlerea, arriving for 7.30pm (approx). Requiem Mass on Friday morning at 11am, after which a private cremation will take place at Shannon Crematorium.
