The death has occurred of Mairéad Bradley, (formerly Murphy, née O’Neill), ‘Donard’, Knockroe, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon and formerly of Louisburgh, Co. Mayo – 12th July 2023, peacefully at Fearna Manor Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family after a long illness. Predeceased by her first husband Dr. Frank Murphy, sisters Eilish and Mary, and brothers Ógie and Frankie. Mairéad will be sadly missed by her husband Gerry, children Malcolm, Rachel, Leah and Gavan, brother Dermot (Canada), sister Treasa (Canada), grandchildren Salvi, Rachel, Caomhan, Naoise and Fintan, son-in-law Pete Sandford, daughter-in-law Sinead Conneely, nieces, nephews, cousins, the wider Murphy, O’Neill and Bradley families and a close circle of friends.

Reposing at Gaynor’s Funeral Home, Castlerea from 5pm until 7pm on Friday evening. The funeral will arrive at St. Patrick’s Church, Castlerea for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am on Saturday morning. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
