The death has occurred of John Lyons, Tarmon Road, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon - 15th August 2026, unexpectedly but peacefully, at Sligo University Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Bob and Nora, brother Michael and sister Mary. John will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Rose, son Paul, daughters Tanya and Ciara, sisters Irene, Margaret and Dympna, brothers Tom and Dermot, grandchildren Holly and James, daughter-in-law Lara, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his home (eircode F45 C670) on Monday evening from 4pm - 7pm. Funeral arriving to St. Patrick’s Church, Castlerea for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am on Tuesday. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
