The death has occurred of Annie Hegarty, née Flanagan, Clooncundra, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon and formerly of Cloonelt, Castlerea - 2nd January 2024.Annie passed away peacefully in the care of Claremont Nursing Home in her 93rd year, surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her beloved husband Joe and her brothers James, Michael and John. Annie will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sisters-in-law Nonie and Breege, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews of the Flanagan and Hegarty families and also by her kind neighbours in Clooncundra.

Annie will be reposing at Gaynor’s Funeral Home, Castlerea from 5pm - 7pm on Wednesday with removal afterwards to St. Patrick’s Church, Castlerea. Mass of the Resurrection will take place at 11am on Thursday followed by burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
